The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Sigurður þóttist finna að eigi mundi honum til hjálpar að leita á fund Haralds konungs og var þá í fylgsnum allt haustið og öndurðan vetur. Hann var í býnum í Björgyn með presti nokkurum og gildraði til ef hann mætti verða skaðamaður Haralds konungs og voru mjög margir menn að þessum ráðum með honum og þeir sumir er þá voru hirðmenn og herbergismenn Haralds konungs og þeir höfðu fyrr verið hirðmenn Magnúss konungs. Voru þeir þá í kærleikum miklum við Harald konung svo að æ var nokkur af þessum sá er sat yfir borði konungsins. Lúsíumessu að kveldi töluðust við tveir menn er þar sátu.

Mælti annar til konungs: "Herra, nú höfum við skotið úrskurð þrætu okkarrar til yðarra úrslita og höfum við veðjað ask hunangs hvor okkar. Eg segi það að þér munuð liggja í nótt hjá Ingiríði drottningu konu þinni en hann segir að þér munuð liggja hjá Þóru Guttormsdóttur."

Þá svaraði konungur hlæjandi og var mjög óvitandi að þessi spurning væri með svo mikilli vél og segir: "Eigi muntu hljóta veðféið."

Af því þóttust þeir vita hvar hans var að vitja á þeirri nótt en höfuðvörður var þá haldinn fyrir því herbergi er flestir hugðu að konungur væri inni í og drottning svaf í.
