Gunnólfur hét maður, er nam land milli Þverár og
Glóðafeykisár og bjó í Hvammi.
Gormur hét hersir ágætur í Svíþjóð; hann átti Þóru, dóttur
Eiríks konungs að Uppsölum. Þorgils hét son þeirra; hann átti
Elínu, dóttur Burisláfs konungs úr Görðum austan og
Ingigerðar, systur Dagstyggs risakonungs. Synir þeirra voru
þeir Hergrímur og Herfinnur, er átti Höllu, dóttur Heðins og
Arndísar Heðinsdóttur. Gróa hét dóttir Herfinns og Höllu;
hana átti Hróar, þeirra son Sleitu-Björn, er land nam fyrst á
milli Grjótár og Deildarár, áður þeir Hjalti og Kolbeinn komu
út; hann bjó á Sleitu-Bjarnarstöðum; hann átti... Þeirra börn
voru Örnólfur, er átti Þorljótu, dóttur Hjalta Skálpssonar,
og Arnbjörn, er átti Þorlaugu Þórðardóttur frá Höfða, og
Arnoddur; hann átti Þórnýju, dóttur Sigmundar Þorkelssonar,
er Glúmur vó, Arnfríður hét dóttir Sleitu-Bjarnar, er
Spak-Böðvar átti, son Öndótts.
Öndóttur kom út í Kolbeinsárósi og kaupir land að
Sleitu-Birni ofan frá Hálsgróf hinum eystra megin og út til
Kolbeinsáróss, (en) hinum vestra megin ofan frá læk þeim, er
verður út frá Nautabúi, og inn til Gljúfrár, og bjó í Viðvík.
Sigmundur á Vestfold átti Ingibjörgu dóttur Rauðs ruggu í
Naumudal, systur Þorsteins svarfaðar. Þeirra son var
Kolbeinn; hann fór til Íslands og nam land á milli Grjótár og
Deildarár, Kolbeinsdal og Hjaltadal.
