Beigan hét maður, er land nam í landnámi Ketils frá
Berjadalsá til Aurriðaár og bjó að Beigansstöðum.

Fiður hinn auðgi Halldórsson Högnasonar, hann nam land fyrir
sunnan Laxá og til Kalmansár og bjó að Miðfelli; hans son var
Þorgeir, faðir Jósteins, föður Þórunnar, móður Guðrúnar,
móður Sæmundar, föður Brands byskups.

Hafnar-Ormur nam lönd um Melahverfi út til Aurriðaár og Laxár
og inn til Andakílsár og bjó í Höfn; hans son var Þorgeir
höggvinkinni, faðir Þórunnar, móður Þórunnar, móður Jósteins,
föður Sigurðar, föður Bjarnhéðins.

Þorgeir höggvinkinni var hirðmaður Hákonar konungs
Aðalsteinsfóstra; hann fékk á Fitjum kinnarsár og orð gott.

Bræður tveir bjuggu í landnámi þeirra Finns og Orms, Hróðgeir
hinn spaki í Saurbæ, en Oddgeir að Leirá: en þeir Finnur og
Ormur keyptu þá brutt, því að þeim þótti þar þrönglent.

Þeir Hróðgeir bræður námu síðan lönd í Flóa,
Hraungerðingahrepp; bjó Hróðgeir í Hraungerði, en Oddgeir í
Oddgeirshólum; hann átti dóttur Ketils gufu.
