Eysteinn konungur var svartur maður og dökklitaður, heldur hár meðalmaður, vitur maður og skynsamur en það dró mest ríki undan honum er hann var sínkur og fégjarn. Hann átti Rögnu dóttur Nikuláss mása.

Ingi konungur var manna fegurstur í andliti. Hann hafði gult hár og heldur þunnt og hrökk mjög. Lítill var hans uppvöxtur og treglega mátti hann ganga einn samt, svo var visinn annar fóturinn, en knýttur var hann á herðum og á bringu. Hann var blíðmæltur og dæll vinum sínum, ör af fé og lét mjög höfðingja ráða með sér landráðum, vinsæll við alþýðu og dró það allt saman mjög undir hann ríki og fjölmenni.

Brígiða hét dóttir Haralds konungs gilla. Hún var gift fyrst Inga Hallsteinssyni Svíakonungi en síðan Karli jarli Sónasyni en þá Magnúsi Svíakonungi. Þeir Ingi konungur Haraldsson voru sammæðra. Síðast átti hana Birgir jarl brosa. Þau áttu fjóra sonu, einn Filippus jarl, annar Knútur jarl, þriðji Fólki, fjórði Magnús. Dætur þeirra: Ingigerður er átti Sörkvir konungur, þeirra sonur Jón konungur, önnur Kristín, þriðja Margrét. María hét önnur dóttir Haralds gilla. Hana átti Símon skálpur sonur Hallkels húks. Nikulás hét sonur þeirra. Margrét hét hin þriðja dóttir Haralds gilla. Hana átti Jón Hallkelsson bróðir Símonar.

Nú gerðist mart þess í með þeim bræðrum er til sundurþykkis var en eg mun þó hins eins geta er mér þykir mestum tíðindum sætt hafa.
