The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Haraldur konungur Guðinason lofaði brottferð Ólafi syni
Haralds konungs Sigurðarsonar og því liði er þar var með
honum og eigi hafði fallið í orustu.

En Haraldur snerist þá með her sinn suður á England því að
hann hafði þá spurt að Vilhjálmur bastarður fór sunnan á
England og lagði landið undir sig. Þar voru þá með Haraldi
konungi bræður hans: Sveinn, Gyrður, Valþjófur. Fundur þeirra
Haralds konungs og Vilhjálms jarls varð suður á Englandi við
Helsingjaport. Varð þar orusta mikil. Þar féll Haraldur
konungur og Gyrður jarl bróðir hans og mikill hluti liðs
þeirra. Það var nítján nóttum eftir fall Haralds konungs
Sigurðarsonar.

Valþjófur jarl komst á flótta undan og síð um kveldið mætti
jarl sveit nokkurri af Vilhjálms mönnum. En er þeir sáu lið
jarls flýðu þeir undan á eikiskóg nokkurn. Það var hundrað
manna. Valþjófur jarl lét eld leggja í skóginn og brenna upp
allt saman.

Svo segir Þorkell Skallason í Valþjófsflokki:

Hundrað lét í heitum

hirðmenn jöfurs brenna

sóknar Yggr, en seggjum

sviðukveld var það, eldi.

Frétt er að fyrðar knáttu

flagðviggs und kló liggja.

Ímleitum fékkst áta

óls blakk við hræ Frakka.
