The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Haraldur konungur Sigurðarson mælti þá: "Tökum nú nokkuð gott
ráð og viturlegt því að ekki er að dyljast að ófriður er og
mun vera konungur sjálfur."

Þá svarar jarl: "Það er hið fyrsta að snúa aftur sem hvatast
til skipa eftir liði voru og vopnum, veitum þá viðurtöku
eftir efnum en að öðrum kosti látum skipin gæta vor og eiga
þá riddarar ekki vald yfir oss."

Þá svarar Haraldur konungur: "Annað ráð vil eg hafa, að setja
hina skjótustu hesta undir þrjá vaska drengi og ríði þeir sem
hvatlegast og segi liði voru, mun þá skjótt koma oss
liðveisla, fyrir þá sök að Englismenn skulu eiga hinnar
snörpustu hríðar von heldur en vér berum hinn lægra hlut."

Þá segir jarl, bað konung ráða þessu sem öðru, lést og vera
eigi gjarn að flýja. Þá lét Haraldur konungur setja upp merki
sitt Landeyðuna. Frírekur hét sá er merkið bar.
