The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Eftir það lét Finnur Árnason sér fjandskap í þykja við konung
um fall Kálfs bróður síns, kallaði að konungur væri ráðbani
Kálfs og það væri blekking ein við Finn er hann hafði teygt
Kálf bróður sinn vestan um haf á vald og trúnað Haralds
konungs.

En er þessi ræða kom á loft þá mæltu það margir menn að það
þótti grunnsælegt er Finnur hafði trúað því að Kálfur mundi
fá trúnað Haralds konungs, þótti sem konungur væri heiftrækur
um smærri hluti en þá er Kálfur hafði gert til saka við
Harald konung.

Konungur lét hér ræða um hvern slíkt er vildi, sannaði það
ekki, synjaði og eigi. Fannst það eitt á að konungi þótti það
vel orðið.

Haraldur konungur kvað vísu þessa:

Nú emk ellefu allra,

eggjumst vígs, og tveggja,

þau eru enn svo að eg man, manna,

morð, ráðbani orðinn.

Ginn enn gráleik inna

golls, er fer með skolli,

lýtendr. Kveða lítið

lauki gæft til auka.

Finnur Árnason lét sér svo mikið um finnast mál þetta að hann
fór af landi brott og kom fram suður í Danmörk, fór á fund
Sveins konungs og fékk þar góðar viðtökur og töluðu þeir
löngum einmæli og kom það upp að lyktum að Finnur gekk til
handa Sveini konungi og gerðist hans maður en Sveinn konungur
gaf Finni jarldóm og Halland til yfirsóknar og var hann þar
til landvarnar fyrir Norðmönnum.
