The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

En er Haraldur kom mjög svo til dýflissunnar þá sýndist honum
hinn helgi Ólafur konungur og segir að hann mundi hjálpa
honum. Þar á strætinu var síðan ger kapella og helguð Ólafi
konungi og hefir sú kapella þar staðið síðan. Dýflissa sú var
þannug ger að þar er turn hár og opinn ofan en dyr af
strætinu í að ganga. Var Haraldur þar inn látinn og með honum
Halldór og Úlfur.

Næstu nótt eftir kom ein rík kona ofan á dýflissuna og hafði
gengið upp með stigum nokkurum og þjónustumenn hennar tveir.
Þau létu síga ofan streng nokkurn í dýflissuna og drógu þá
upp. Þessari konu hafði hinn helgi Ólafur konungur unnið bót
fyrr og hafði þá vitrast henni að hún skyldi leysa bróður
hans úr prísund.

Þá fór Haraldur þegar til Væringja og stóðu þeir upp allir í
mót honum og fögnuðu honum vel. Síðan vopnaðist allt liðið og
gengu þar til er konungurinn sva. Þeir taka konunginn höndum
og stinga úr bæði augu.

Svo segir Þórarinn Skeggjason í sinni drápu:

Náði gerr enn glóðum

Grikklands, jöfur handa,

stólþengill gekk ströngu

steinblindr aðalmeini.

Svo segir og Þjóðólfur skáld:

Stólþengils lét stinga,

styrjöld var þá byrjuð,

eyðir augun bæði

út heiðingja sútar.

Lagði allvaldr Egða

austr á bragning hraustan

grálegt mark, en Girkja

götu illa fór stillir.

Í þessum tveim drápum Haralds og mörgum öðrum kvæðum hans er
getið þess að Haraldur blindaði sjálfan Grikkjakonung. Nefna
mætti til þess hertoga eða greifa eða annars konar tignarmenn
ef þeir vissu að það væri sannara því að sjálfur Haraldur
flutti þessa sögn og þeir menn aðrir er þar voru með honum.
