The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Hina þriðju borg hittu þeir, þá er mest var af þessum öllum
og sterkust og ríkust að fé og fjölmenni. Voru um þá borg
díki stór svo að þeir sáu að ekki mátti þar vinna með
þvílíkum brögðum sem hinar fyrri borgir. Lágu þeir þar mjög
lengi svo að þeir fengu ekki að gert. En er borgarmenn sáu
það þá dirfðust þeir við. Þeir settu fylkingar sínar uppi á
borgarveggjum, síðan luku þeir upp borgarhliðum og æptu á
Væringja, eggjuðu þá og báðu þá ganga í borgina og frýðu þeim
hugar, sögðu að þeir væru eigi betri til orustu en hænsn.

Haraldur bað sína menn láta sem eigi vissu hvað þeir sögðu.
"Vér gerum ekki að," segir hann, "þótt vér rennum til
borgarinnar. Þeir bera vopn sín á oss undir fætur sér niður.
En þótt vér komum í borgina með nokkura sveit þá hafa þeir
vald að byrgja inni þá er þeir vilja en suma úti því að þeir
hafa yfir öll borgarhlið gæslu sett. Vér skulum gera þeim
eigi minna skaup og skulum láta þá sjá að vér óttumst þá
ekki. Skulu vorir menn ganga fram á völluna sem næst borginni
og gæta þó þess að ganga eigi í skotmál þeirra. Skulu vorir
menn allir fara vopnlausir og gera sér leik og láta það sjá
borgarmenn að vér hirðum ekki um fylkingar þeirra."

Síðan var svo nokkura daga.
