Guttormur hertogi sat oftast í Túnsbergi og hafði yfirsókn
allt um Víkina þá er konungur var eigi nær og hafði þar
landvörn. Var þar mjög herskátt af víkingum en ófriður var
upp á Gautland meðan Eiríkur konungur lifði Emundarson. Hann
andaðist þá er Haraldur konungur hinn hárfagri hafði verið
tíu vetur konungur í Noregi.
