The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Haraldur konungur fór út úr Þrándheimi og sneri suður á Mæri.
Húnþjófur hét konungur er réð fyrir Mærafylki. Sölvi klofi er
son hans. Þeir voru hermenn miklir. En sá konungur er réð
fyrir Raumsdali er nefndur Nökkvi, móðurfaðir Sölva. Þessir
höfðingjar drógu her saman er þeir spurðu til Haralds konungs
og fara móti honum. Þeir hittust við Sólskel. Varð þar orusta
mikil og hafði Haraldur konungur sigur.

Þessar orustu getur Hornklofi:

Þar svo að barst að borði

borðhölkvis, rak norðan,

hlífar valdr til hildar,

hregg, döglinga tveggja,

og allsnæfrir jöfrar

orðalaust að morði,

endist rauðra randa

rödd, dynskotum kvöddust.

Þar féllu báðir konungar en Sölvi komst við flótta undan.
Lagði Haraldur konungur þá undir sig þessi tvö fylki og
dvaldist þar lengi of sumarið og skipaði þar réttum með
mönnum og setti þar forráðamenn og treysti sér fólkið. En of
haustið bjóst hann að fara norður til Þrándheims.

Rögnvaldur Mærajarl sonur Eysteins glumru hafði þá of sumarið
gerst maður Haralds konungs. Konungur setti hann höfðingja
yfir fylki þessi tvö, Norð-Mæri og Raumsdal, og fékk honum
þar styrk til, bæði af ríkismönnum og bóndum, svo og
skipakost að verja landið fyrir ófriði. Hann var kallaður
Rögnvaldur hinn ríki og hinn ráðsvinni og kalla menn að
hvorttveggja væri sannnefni.

Haraldur konungur var um veturinn eftir í Þrándheimi.
