The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):



Sendimenn fara nú aftur til Haralds konungs og segja honum
þessi orð meyjarinnar og telja að hún er furðu djörf og
óvitur og segja það maklegt að konungur sendi lið mikið eftir
henni við ósæmd.



Þá svarar Haraldur konungur að eigi hefði þessi mær illa mælt
eða gert svo að hefnda væri fyrir vert, bað hana hafa mikla
þökk fyrir orð sín, "hún hefir minnt mig þeirra hluta," segir
hann, "er mér þykir nú undarlegt er eg hefi eigi fyrr
hugleitt."



Og enn mælti hann: "Þess strengi eg heit og því skýt eg til
guðs þess er mig skóp og öllu ræður að aldrei skal skera hár
mitt né kemba fyrr en eg hefi eignast allan Noreg með sköttum
og skyldum og forráði en deyja að öðrum kosti."



Þessi orð þakkaði honum mjög Guttormur hertogi og lét það
vera konunglegt verk að efna orð sín.
