The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Hálfdan svarti spurði að ófriður var á Raumaríki. Dró hann þá
her saman og fór á Raumaríki á hendur Eysteini konungi og
áttu þeir orustu. Hafði Hálfdan sigur en Eysteinn flýði upp á
Heiðmörk. Hálfdan konungur fór þá með her sinn á Heiðmörk
eftir honum og áttu þeir þar aðra orustu og hafði Hálfdan
sigur en Eysteinn flýði norður í Dala á fund Guðbrands
hersis. Hann efldist þaðan að liði, fór síðan út á Heiðmörk.
Hann hitti Hálfdan svarta í ey hinni miklu er liggur í Mjörs
og áttu þeir þar orustu og féll mart manna af hvorumtveggjum
og hafði Hálfdan konungur sigur. Þar féll Guttormur son
Guðbrands hersis er mannvænstur þótti vera á Upplöndum. Þá
flýði Eysteinn konungur enn norður í Dala.

Þá sendi hann Hallvarð skálk frænda sinn á fund Hálfdanar
konungs að leita um sættir en fyrir sakir frændsemi gaf
Hálfdan konungur upp Eysteini konungi hálfa Heiðmörk svo sem
þeir frændur höfðu fyrr átt. En Hálfdan konungur lagði undir
sig Þótn og þar sem Land heitir og Haðaland því að hann
herjaði víða. Var hann þá og allríkur konungur.
