The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):



Hálfdan var þá veturgamall er faðir hans féll. Ása móðir hans
fór þegar með hann vestur á Agðir og settist þar til ríkis á
Ögðum þeim er átt hafði Haraldur faðir hennar. Hálfdan óx þar
upp. Var hann brátt mikill og sterkur og svartur á hár. Var
hann kallaður Hálfdan svarti. Hann var nítján vetra er hann
tók konungdóm á Ögðum. Fór hann þá þegar inn á Vestfold og
skipti ríki við Ólaf bróður sinn svo sem fyrr er ritað.



Sama haust fór hann með her á Vingulmörk á hendur Gandálfi
konungi og áttu þeir margar orustur og höfðu ýmsir sigur. En
að lyktum sættust þeir og skyldi Hálfdan hafa Vingulmörk
hálfa sem áður hafði haft Guðröður faðir hans.



Eftir það fór Hálfdan konungur upp á Raumaríki og lagði undir
sig. Það spurði Sigtryggur konungur son Eysteins konungs.
Hann hafði þá aðsetu á Heiðmörk og hafði áður lagið undir sig
Raumaríki. Fór þá Sigtryggur konungur í móti Hálfdani konungi
og varð þar orusta mikil og hafði Hálfdan sigur. En er
flóttinn brast var Sigtryggur konungur lostinn öru undir
vinstri hönd og féll hann þar. Síðan lagði Hálfdan undir sig
allt Raumaríki.



Eysteinn hét annar son Eysteins konungs, bróðir Sigtryggs.
Hann var konungur á Heiðmörk. En er Hálfdan konungur kom út á
Vestfold þá fór Eysteinn konungur með her sinn út á Raumaríki
og lagði þar þá víða undir sig.
