The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):



Gamli Eiríksson flýði og af hálsinum og ofan á jöfnu fyrir
sunnan bergið. Þá sneri Gamli konungur enn í mót og hélt upp
orustu. Kom þá enn lið til hans. Þá komu og allir bræður hans
með miklar sveitir. Egill ullserkur var þá fyrir Hákonar
mönnum og veitti harða atgöngu og skiptust þeir Gamli
konungur höggum við. Fékk Gamli konungur sár stór en Egill
féll og mart lið með honum.



Þá kom að Hákon konungur með þær sveitir er honum höfðu
fylgt. Varð þá enn ný orusta. Sótti þá enn Hákon konungur
hart fram og hjó menn til beggja handa sér og felldi hvern
yfir annan.



Svo segir Guttormur sindri:



Hræddr fór hjörva raddar

herr fyr málma þverri.

Rógeisu gekk ræsir

ráðsterkr framar merkjum.

Gerra gramr í snerru

geirvífa sér hlífa,

hinn er yfrinn gat jöfra

óskkvánar byr mána.


Eiríkssynir sáu falla menn sína alla vega frá sér. Þá snúast
þeir á flótta til skipa sinna en þeir er fyrri höfðu flúið á
skipin, þá höfðu þeir út hrundið skipunum en sum skipin voru
þá uppi fjöruð. Þá hljópu allir Eiríkssynir á sund og það lið
er þeim fylgdi. Þar féll Gamli Eiríksson en aðrir bræður hans
náðu skipunum og héldu brott síðan með það lið er eftir var
og héldu síðan suður til Danmarkar.
