The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Hákon konungur dró saman her mikinn í Þrándheimi er voraði og
réð til skipa. Víkverjar höfðu og her mikinn úti og ætluðu
til móts við Hákon. Eiríkur bauð og liði út um mitt land og
varð honum illt til liðs því að ríkismenn margir skutust
honum og fóru til Hákonar.

En er hann sá engi efni til mótstöðu í móti her Hákonar þá
sigldi hann vestur um haf með því liði er honum vildi fylgja.
Fór hann fyrst til Orkneyja og hafði þaðan með sér lið mikið.
Þá sigldi hann suður til Englands og herjaði um Skotland hvar
sem hann kom við land. Hann herjaði og allt norður um
England.

Aðalsteinn Englakonungur sendi orð Eiríki og bauð honum að
taka af sér ríki í Englandi, sagði svo að Haraldur konungur
faðir hans var mikill vinur Aðalsteins konungs svo að hann
vill það virða við son hans. Fóru þá menn í milli konunganna
og semst það með einkamálum að Eiríkur konungur tók
Norðimbraland að halda af Aðalsteini konungi og verja þar
land fyrir Dönum og öðrum víkingum. Eiríkur skyldi láta
skírast og kona hans og börn þeirra og allt lið hans það er
honum hafði fylgt þangað. Tók Eiríkur þenna kost. Var hann þá
skírður og tók rétta trú. Norðimbraland er kallað fimmtungur
Englands. Hann hafði aðsetu í Jórvík þar sem menn segja að
fyrr hafi setið Loðbrókarsynir.

Norðimbraland var mest byggt Norðmönnum síðan er
Loðbrókarsynir unnu landið. Herjuðu Danir og Norðmenn oftlega
þangað síðan er vald landsins hafði undan þeim gengið. Mörg
heiti landsins eru þar gefin á norræna tungu, Grímsbær og
Hauksfljót og mörg önnur.
