The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Nú er frá því fyrst að segja að Þórður Kolbeinsson kannaði
fjöru sína. Hann kom þar sem selur var í vök og var særinn
undan fallinn en ísar allt um utan og komst selurinn eigi
brott. Þórði kom í hug ef hann sækti sér vopn heim að fyrr
mundi sær undir falla en hann kæmi aftur og mundi hann þá
eigi ná selnum og vildi það eigi, réðst til síðan og fær
hlaðið selnum. En á varð slys við því að selurinn beit í lær
honum og varð Þórði að því mein. Þórður kom heim og lét
selinn til gera en ætlaði að leyna bitinu. En því kom hann
eigi á leið og hafðist illa sárið og kom svo að hann lá í
rekkju.

Björn var eigi sk... að því búinu á Völlum og spurðist þangað
og gerðu menn eigi um það allorðfátt hvað Þórði væri til
meins og kvað Björn vísu:

Hoddgeymir liggr heima,

hér fregna það gegnir,

sár fékk mýgir mörva

misleitr af selreitum.

En þá er út taka hrannir

allhvasst um sker falla

færir lókr um leiru

ljótr kerlingu skjóta.

Spyr Þórður þetta og heyrir kveðna vísuna og þykir ekki góð
og þó líkast vanda Bjarnar. Ekki svarar Þórður hér í mót
fyrst og er kyrrt.
