The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Það var mikill mannfjöldi er útlagi fór af Svíþjóð fyrir
Ívari konungi. Þeir spurðu að Ólafur trételgja hafði
landskosti góða á Vermalandi og dreif þannug til hans svo
mikill mannfjöldi að landið fékk eigi borið. Gerðist þar
hallæri mikið og sultur. Kenndu þeir það konungi sínum, svo
sem Svíar eru vanir að kenna konungi bæði ár og hallæri.

Ólafur konungur var lítill blótmaður. Það líkaði Svíum illa
og þótti þaðan mundu standa hallærið. Drógu Svíar þá her
saman, gerðu för að Ólafi konungi og tóku hús á honum og
brenndu hann inni og gáfu hann Óðni og blétu honum til árs
sér. Það var við Væni.

Svo segir Þjóðólfur:

Og við vog,

hinn er viðjar..,

hræ Ólafs

hofgyldir svalg,

og glaðfjálgr

gervar leysti

sonr Fornjóts

af Svía jöfri.

Sá áttkonr

frá Uppsölum

lofða kyns

fyr löngu hvarf.

Þeir er vitrari voru af Svíum fundu þá að það olli hallærinu
að mannfólkið var meira en landið mætti bera en konungur
hafði engu um valdið. Taka nú það ráð að fara með herinn
allan vestur yfir Eiðaskóg og koma fram í Sóleyjum mjög á
óvart. Þeir drápu Sölva konung og tóku höndum Hálfdan
hvítbein. Þeir taka hann til höfðingja yfir sig og gefa honum
konungsnafn. Lagði hann þá undir sig Sóleyjar. Síðan fór hann
með herinn út á Raumaríki og herjar þar og fékk fylki það af
hernaði.
