The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):


Yngvar hét sonur Eysteins konungs er þá var konungur yfir
Svíaveldi. Hann var hermaður mikill og var oft á herskipum
því að þá var áður Svíaríki mjög herskátt, bæði af Dönum og
Austurvegsmönnum. Yngvar konungur gerði frið við Dani, tók þá
að herja um Austurvegu.



Á einu sumri hafði hann her úti og fór til Eistlands og
herjaði þar um sumarið sem heitir að Steini. Þá komu Eistur
ofan með mikinn her og áttu þeir orustu. Var þá landherinn
svo drjúgur að Svíar fengu eigi mótstöðu. Féll þá Yngvar
konungur en lið hans flýði. Hann er heygður þar við sjá
sjálfan. Það er á Aðalsýslu. Fóru Svíar heim eftir ósigur
þenna.



Svo segir Þjóðólfur:



Það stökk upp

að Yngvari

Sýslu kind

um sóað hefði

og ljóshömum

við lagar hjarta

her eistneskr

að hilmi vó,

og austmar

jöfri sænskum

Gymis ljóð

að gamni kveðr.
