The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Jörundur sonur Yngva konungs var konungur að Uppsölum. Hann
réð þá löndum og var oftlega á sumrum í hernaði. Á einhverju
sumri fór hann með her sinn til Danmerkur. Hann herjaði um
Jótland og fór um haustið inn í Limafjörð og herjaði þar.
Hann lá liði sínu í Oddasundi.

Þá kom þar með her mikinn Gýlaugur Háleygjakonungur, sonur
Guðlaugs er fyrr var getið. Hann leggur til orustu við Jörund
en er landsmenn urðu þess varir drífa þeir til öllum áttum
bæði með stórum skipum og smám. Verður þá Jörundur ofurliði
borinn og hroðið skip hans. Hljóp hann þá á sund og var
handtekinn og leiddur á land upp. Lét þá Gýlaugur konungur
reisa gálga, leiðir hann Jörund þar til og lætur hengja hann.
Lýkur svo hans ævi.

Svo segir Þjóðólfur:

Varð Jörundr,

hinn er endr um dó,

lífs um lattr

í Limafirði,

þá er hábrjóstr

hörva sleipnir

bana Guðlaugs

um bera skyldi

og Hagbarðs

hersa valdi

höðnu leif

að hálsi gekk.
