The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Vanlandi hét sonur Sveigðis er ríki tók eftir hann og réð
fyrir Uppsalaauð. Hann var hermaður mikill og hann fór víða
um lönd. Hann þá veturvist á Finnlandi með Snjá hinum gamla
og fékk þar dóttur hans Drífu. En að vori fór hann á brott en
Drífa var eftir og hét hann að koma aftur á þriggja vetra
fresti, en hann kom eigi á tíu vetrum.

Þá sendi Drífa eftir Huld seiðkonu en sendi Vísbur, son
þeirra Vanlanda, til Svíþjóðar. Drífa keypti að Huld seiðkonu
að hún skyldi síða Vanlanda til Finnlands eða deyða hann að
öðrum kosti.

En er seiður var framiður var Vanlandi að Uppsölum. Þá gerði
hann fúsan að fara til Finnlands en vinir hans og ráðamenn
bönnuðu honum og sögðu að vera mundi fjölkynngi Finna í fýsi
hans. Þá gerðist honum svefnhöfugt og lagðist hann til
svefns. En er hann hafði lítt sofnað kallaði hann og sagði að
mara trað hann. Menn hans fóru til og vildu hjálpa honum en
er þeir tóku uppi til höfuðsins þá trað hún fótleggina svo að
nær brotnuðu. Þá tóku þeir til fótanna. Þá kafði hún höfuðið
svo að þar dó hann. Svíar tóku lík hans og var hann brenndur
við á þá er Skúta heitir. Þar voru settir bautasteinar hans.

Svo segir Þjóðólfur:

En á vit

Vilja bróður

vitta véttr

Vanlanda kom.

Þá tröllkund

um troða skyldi

líðs grím-Hildr

ljóna bága,

og sá brann

á beði Skútu,

menglötuðr,

er mara kvaldi.
