Kennidóms fekk sæmdir sannar
siðbætir ok vígslu mæta,
prestur sá var prýddr af Kristo
pálmvið líkt, er getr í sálmi;
rót er sterk, en leggur lítill,
listug flúr ok grænir kvistir,
giptufullr í gæzku krǫptum,
Guðmundr hefir svá vaxa fundiz.
