Heilǫg fagnaðu hirði sælan,
Hóla kirkja, fegra sólu,
veittan þér af valdi drottins
víst Guðmund, á hverri stundu;
allur lýðr af hjarta heiðri
hann íslenzkr ok mæli þannveg
sættu oss við sannan drottin
sannr elskugi guðs ok manna!
