Byskup sótti skrín et skreytta,
skildi hann þat sannan vilja,
Óláfs konungs (enn skal stæla),
erkibyskups (nýjan verka),
Þórir tók, en þýtr at eyrum
þungligt róg af mǫrgum tungum,
heilagan mann með heiðri ok sælu,
hans, vildi svá guðlig mildi.
