Ræsi heiðra ek lopts ens ljósa,
lífs stýranda fugla ok dýra,
jarðar gróðr þann er eykr ok fæðir
alla kind ok temprar vinda;
mæta sýni miskunn ýtum
mána valdr, svá at eigim vánir
(heilagr gefi þat hǫlda skýlir)
himinríkis ok sannrar líknar.
