Hrólfs saga kraka — chs 34-35 27 — ed. Tarrin Wills
Not published: do not cite (Prose: Hr 35.13)
The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):
Konungr mælir, ‘Vissa ek, þá þú komst hér, at fáir mundu þínir jafningjar vera, en þó þyki mér þat þitt verk frækiligast, at þú hefir gert hér annan kappa, þar er Hǫttr er, ok óvænligr þótti til mikillar gæfu. Nú vil ek hann heiti eigi lengr, ok skal hann heita Hjalti upp frá þessu. Skaltu eptir sverðinu Gullinhjalta.’
Ok endar hér þenna þátt frá Bǫðvari ok brœðrum hans.
