Vask þars bragnar bǫrðusk,
brandr gall á Írlandi
margr, þars mœttusk tǫrgur,
malmr gnast í dyn hjalma;
svipun þeira frák snarpa,
Sigurðr fell í dyn vigra,
áðr téði ben blœða,
Bríann fell ok helt velli.
