Kali Sæbjarnarson

Kali Sæbjarnarson (Kali) was a Norw. chieftain who married Gunnhildr, the daughter of Jarl Erlendr Þorfinnsson of Orkney (see Genealogy II in ÍF 34). Their son was Kolr Kalason, the father of Jarl Rǫgnvaldr Kali Kolsson of Orkney (Rv). According to Orkn (ÍF 34, 100) and H-Hr (Fms 7, 50), Kali died in the Hebrides (1098-9) on King Magnús berfœttr Óláfsson’s first expedition to the west.
