Poem about Þórr — EVald ÞórrIII

Three dróttkvætt helmingar (EVald Þórr), quoted one after the other in Skm (SnE 1998, I, 15) to illustrate kennings for the god Þórr, are assigned to Eysteinn Valdason in mss of SnE. All stanzas are in R and W, while Tˣ omits st. 2 and U omits st. 3. Ms. R is taken as the main ms. The stanzas appear to come from a longer poem about Þórr’s fishing expedition with the giant Hymir to fight the World Serpent, Miðgarðsormr, but the poem is not named in SnE.
