Líðr gótt sumar gróðrar,
gandrekr þrumir, landa
heimr's með beztum blóma
birtr, nú's ráð at hirtask;
mjǫk's grimmliga glýjaðr,
gapir hann á sjǫt manna
olmr und œgishjalmi,
