Jǫrundr, son of Yngvi ( then king of Sweden, Uppsala) was raiding in Denmark and Gýlaugr, son of Guðlaug came to do battle. The Danish forces rallied around Gýlaugr and in defeating Jǫrundr, he had Jǫrundr hanged as apparent revenge for the death of his father.
