Finnboga saga ramma is one of the íslendigasögur. It survives in Möðruvallabók from mid 14th century. The saga tells of Finnbogi who is abandoned as an infant to die but is found and raised by a poor couple. Finnbogi’s life is filled with great travels in Iceland and abroad, he becomes Christian, is accepted by his biological father and dies an old and most recognised man in Iceland.
