context

Hervarar saga ok Heiðreks is a fornaldarsaga from the 13th century. The saga survives in several manuscrips, albeit somewhat different, such as in Hauksbók A.M. 544, 4to (c. 1325), MS 2845, 4to (15th century) and AM 203 fol (mid. 17th century).
