context
Egils saga Skalla-Grímssonar is a saga about the poet Egill and his family. The saga covers the time span of c. 850-1000 AD and takes place in Iceland, Scandinavia and England. Egill is a rebell of sorts, as his lineage also shows with quarrels, feuds and enemies and lives to become an old and well known influencial man in Iceland.
