[7] gnegr ‘gnaw’: The verb is sg., agreeing with the sg. but collective n. noun grjót ‘rock(s)’. As often in skaldic poetry, another subject (ok in ljótu veðr ‘and the foul weather’) shares the sg. verb (see NS §70).
