This produces the sense ‘Listen to my praise, even though you refuse the praise of others’. It is preferred because it avoids placing a concessive clause ahead of a main clause within the helmingr (cf. Kuhn 1983, 190). That is the effect of the arrangement in Skj B, which produces the overall sense ‘I shall praise you even though you refuse the praise of others’.
