After the reconciliation between Magnús and Haraldr, they launched a joint attack on Denmark the following year (1047), and after Magnús’s death (1047), Haraldr harried in Denmark almost every summer. His raids on Denmark culminated in the battle of the Nissan (Niz) in 1062 and his final victory over Sveinn Úlfsson.
