[5-6] dáðskreyttan frið ‘deed-adorned peace’: See Note to dáðmáttugr ‘deed-mighty’ (5/7). Leið often characterises God in terms of his good works. Here, as in the cpd dáðstétt ‘deed-host’ used for the angel-host in 24/5, this renown is transferred to God’s creation.
