Note to Kolli Ingdr 3II

[1, 4] ljósa sárísa ‘bright wound-icicles [SWORDS]’: Skj B takes the adj. ljósa (m. acc. pl.) ‘bright’ as a f. acc. sg. modifying ben (l. 2; taken as sg. ‘wound’): í ljósa ben Gauta ‘in the bright wound of the Gautar’. Again, Ingi could not possibly have ‘reddened the bright wound-icicles’ on this occasion (see Notes to sts. 1/7 and 2/5, 8 above).
