[All]: The number of years given for Hákon’s rule tallies with those of HákgóðHkr (ÍF 26, 182) and Fsk (ÍF 29, 94). HN (MHN 106) and ÓH (1941, 18) have twenty-seven years (counting the year he ruled jointly with his brother Eiríkr). Theodoricus (MHN 9) gives twenty-five years and Ágr (ÍF 29, 9) has twenty-four years. See Ólafía Einarsdóttir 1964, 174-7.
