[7] Drótt: Written as ‘dott’ in 721. According to Jón Helgason, it would be logical to emend it as drottning ‘queen’, but that would be metrically incorrect. Drótt is a name of a queen, according to LP (LP: Drótt 2). Here it seems to be part of a kenning for Mary.
