[4] Jassarfjöllum (dat. pl.) ‘the Jassarfjǫll’: Much (1889) identified these mountains with the range now known as Hrubý Jeseník (ModGer. Gesenke) in the Czech Republic, meaning ‘(High) Ash Mountains’. No more convincing identifications have been forthcoming.
