Note to AngH Lv 8VIII (Heiðr 108)

[1] þann ‘that one’: The reading of both mss, þann ‘that one’, gives good sense and syntax but lacks alliteration. All eds but Heiðr 1672, FSN and ÍF Edd. emend to mann ‘a man’ (Edd. Min. moves mann to be the first word of the stanza). ÍF Edd. emends to þann mann ‘that man’.
