[2] arfi ‘heir’: Manuscript R715ˣ’s reading is preferable both metrically and because it echoes the same line in Anon (Heiðr) 8/2 (Heiðr 89), but 2845’s arfþegi ‘recipient of an inheritance’ has the same sense and is preferred as the reading of the main ms. in FSN, Heiðr 1873, Edd. Min. and NK.
