Note to Anon (Vǫls) 4VIII (Vǫls 24)

[7-8]: These two lines are exactly the same as ll. 7-8 of Vǫls 2 and refer to the same incident, perhaps indicating that they may be from the same poem, or at least composed in the knowledge of the body of verse referring to Gunnarr’s and Sigurðr’s wooing of Brynhildr.
