[9] egðir (m.) ‘edged one’: This heiti, which refers to a wolf’s sharp teeth, does not occur elsewhere in poetry, but egðir is also listed among the eagle-heiti (see SnE 1998, I, 92 and Note to Þul Ara l. 5).
