[2] keipull (m.) ‘coble’: A kind of boat, kayak, skin-boat. According to Falk (1912, 86), keipull is originally a Celtic word (Welsh ceubal, ceubol < MLat. caupulus; cf. OE cuopel, ModEngl. coble ‘short flat-bottomed rowing boat’). The word is not attested in skaldic poetry.
