[3-4] prýðisæti postula ‘the seat of honour of the Apostles’: Referring to Peter’s preeminence both as princeps postulanna ‘prince of the Apostles’ (st. 27/1-2; cf. st. 34/3 postula prýði ‘adornment of the Apostles’) and as the first occupant of the sedes apostolica ‘apostolic seat’ (cf. Fritzner: sæti 1) postoligt sæti.
