[1] Hrossþjófr: Lit. ‘horse-thief’. This giant was a descendant of Hrímnir mentioned in Hyndl 32/5. Hrossþjófr is also the name of a berserk in Hrólfs saga Gautrekssonar (chs 16-17, 20, FSN III, 114-16, 128-32).
