[3] Báleygr: Lit. ‘fiery-eyed one’. The first part of this cpd is derived from bál n. ‘fire’ (cf. also Bileygr, Báleygr in Grí 47/4 (NK 67) and Note to Bileygr, st. 5/5 above). This Óðinn-name appears in several skaldic kennings.
